Storing my rack when not in use

So I'm curious how people store their rack when it's not in use. Currently I have all my alpine draws, cams, and nuts on one sling which I hang from a hook in my gear room. BUT as my rack grows I'm a bit worried it will bring down the hook. I like to keep my trad gear organized and separate from my sport draws and such. Any ideas? Do people typically hang their gear or use bins? Bonus points for creative responses!

agreed, been using one for 3 years, never looked back, plus its very mobile.

I like to hang the nuts from the rear drop out on the truck, yeah, kinda tacky but I'm kind of a tacky guy.

I was using bins but everything got kind of tangled. Ralph, I LOVE your set up; It's like wall art.

No picture to post, but I hang almost everything from the wall in my gameroom closet.

I bolted three Fixe hangers to the wall studs and took some acc. cord to create a few masterpoints. Everything hangs from these as bunches: Large cams and small cams as different bunches and likewise with the passive. Belay devices as a bunch, quickdraws and extra carabiners as a bunch, pulleys, ascenders, and capture devices as a bunch, and so on.

It works really well as I can just grab what I need right off the wall without having to sort through bins. I either throw it straight into my pack or into a bin and then into the car. Reverse procedure when you get back.

It also keeps everything out of the way for the other gear I have stored. Looks nice when I open the door. :)

I meticulously take everything and throw it into a bin.
