Getting back into climbing...looking for a trad, ice and alpine partner...

I recently moved back to Denver after being away for the last 5 years, and have been away from climbing for the last 8 years. What I enjoy most is alpine climbing, ice and easy/moderate trad climbing. Since I've been out of the loop for a while, I really want to ease back into it slowly, and take my time. For me, having a great partner that's safe, that you can trust and get along with is way more important than how hard or difficult the route is that you're climbing.

Here are some climbs I've done in the past so you can get an idea of what I used to be into and enjoyed:

Kieners, Long's Peak
Notch Couloir, Long's Peak
Zumie's Thumb, Long's Peak
North Face of Long's
Stettner's Ledges
Dreamweaver, Mt. Meeker
All Mixed Up, Thatchtop Mountain (lead)
Rigid Designator (lead)
Calypso, Bastille, Rewritten in Eldorado Canyon
!st, 3rd Flatirons

I doubt I'd be competent at climbing any of these routes now, and need to get back into the swing of things. Would be up for meeting at a local gym and climbing, or doing something super easy outside just to get a feel and see if we're on the same page. Also wouldn't mind making a new friend of two, since I'm basically new to the area. Like I mentioned before, having a partner you get along with and trust is way more important than how hard you can climb. For me it's more about the experience, and being outside and having fun! FWIW, I'm 37 years old, 6'2, 185lbs.

Scott,

Where are you living what is your schedule like?

I'm available almost anytime I don't already have climbing plans. I am always looking for fun partners. Send me a PM

Scott,

Similar interests. I'm in Boulder. Always looking for more people to climb with. My schedule is pretty variable but I know it way ahead of time. Shoot me a line if you want to get out. I would really like to catch some of the fall alpine climbing in RMNP.

Scott,

I just signed up. Noticed your email from August. I also have been away from climbing for around 8 years and wanting to do some easy alpine to get back into it. I now have a family and safety in a big priority with nothing stupid being done. I have climbed in Peru twice, up in New Hampshire, and Quebec on alpine and a lot of rock in WV, NC, etc. II used to be what I would rate as average (best trad leads were 5.10) at the New, but know I am a long way from that now. Mostly interested in some easy going alpine this winter.

If your interested and still looking for a weekend partner, let me know.

Scott,

I am looking to branch out my climbing partners and am getting into Ice and Alpine. I am more of a sport climber but easing into the other aspects as well. I live in Boulder so am at Movement (indoor) a fair amount but would like to get outdoor as well (Ice right now).

Let me know if you're interested.
