You forgot to tell how deep! What like 30 feet? I bet you knew what way was up right? Take the tanks or at least talk to the locals first. |

Take the tanks or at least talk to the locals first. 20 to 40 ft in the jetty. I'm thinking a pony tail. Never dove " real caves" but did channels near Laguna and underpass at Jade Cove near Big Sur. The latter being most involved dive in my career. |

Ok so you showed me you're an advanced scub. You probably got a scuba dive flag on your car. I would be careful and consider visibility as number one danger. Buy a PH kit. That will tell you if the water's safe enough. I wouldn't dive in any water that's lower than 5 and higher than 7, 7.5 tops. You could get a better test kit but I'm pretty sure the PH alone would turn you away. |

Sweeet! Thanx man! |

You're welcome but I think that waters no good to dive in a wetsuit and scuba gear. |

What does blue and white stand for? Dumpster diving? |

Haha you scoobys! A blue and white flag means there's a commerical diver down. Stay 500 feet away. |

I don't know about that...commercial meaning you lift shit up from the bottom of the ocean and treasure hunt for rich foulks or what? |

Google it scub. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Profe… |

So we are going in the next few days. I will test the Ph of the water in lake, although I see that some guys dive in raw sewage I am not so worried. I have my tetanus and hepatitis shots. As for visibility I am not intending on penetrating any caves while free diving in the lake, so if the vis goes there will be no problem with exiting etc. I now have learned that there are jobs out there much dirtier than mine! |
