So, I just arrived in Vegas for a several days of climbing. We hit rain all the way here from Utah and I hear it rained here so I'm wondering if conditions are such that I should wait a day before getting on routes at Red Rocks?

Mike, no precipitation, just high winds, blowing dust for a couple days. 20% chance of showers Monday night.

Looks like less than a tenth of an inch fell during the day.

How much rain is too much rain?

Just an empirical observation but I live on 215 and Cheyenne and it seemed like portions of Red Rocks might have received significant rain fall. Personally, I'll be pulling on limestone tomorrow.

Thanks all. That's our plan John. If we find things are wet we're prepared to have a good day exploring and getting the lay of the land.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
