Arcteryx Sizing? Vs. Patagonia

I am on the search for a new softshell pant that can be worn with layers in spring/fall and without layers in summer. I have tried Patagonia Rock Craft, OR Ferrosi , and even a heavier OR Cirque pant. All pants have tight thighs for this fatty. In order to have any room in my thighs I have to get a waist size larger, with sloppy fit.
So I guess I am wondering what others have found that has a baggier fit in the thigh while still having a waist true to size. There are very few gear shop options to try things on around here. I am especially curious about Arcteryx Gamma LT pants and how they compare to the above mentioned pants.

Thanks

if anything I've found the Arcteryx stuff to fit more snugly than patagucci. They seem to have a very athletic fit. For baggier or relaxed fit, I'd suggest Columbia or TNF.

I had a similar problem last year, I've got pretty big thighs.

I thought the Gamma LT pants fit me like tights, same with the Gamma MX.

I now own two pairs of softshell pants, both of which I love.

1. Mountain Hardwear Sarpa pant for ice/alpine

2. OR trailbreaker for ski touring.

Both of these provide ample thigh room and feel much baggier than just about anything else I've tried on.

the patagonia mixed guide pants arent super slim...

unlike the alpine guides which are def a hipster tight jean fit.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
