Unfortunately, I temporarily live in Dallas for work. If you live in the area too and want to climb somewhere in the region (Paradise on the Brazos, Oklahoma, or even HCR) let me know. More than willing to pitch for gas. I only lead sport, but I am definitely willing to follow on trad. Message me via this post Roscoe

Well I work on Sunday. I'd like to climb somewhere this weekend but Arkansas may be a little too far. I also just got back into town today, I spent last week climbing at Rumney in New Hampshire. Do you live around here in Dallas? I'm down for a road trip somewhere next weekend. I'll have off Thursday - Sunday next week.

Live n okc but not much sport climbing here, I just started leading trad, that's about all we have OK. I go to Arkansas alot to climb, but I don't go to HSC any more they aren't dog friendly anymore and it's to commercial these days. The are several other great crags in Arkansas but the fern has the most sport, keep me posted I try to camp and climb almost every weekend. What level of spot can u lead? I sport lead upper 10s low 11s.

Looks like you are to my north about three hours. I'd like to learn gear placement and anchor building so I'm down for trad. I'm leading 9s and low 10s right now but I should be back in the upper 10s region soon. Maybe I can catch a bus to okc and drive with you to Oklahoma sometime. Any place you'd like to go in particular, next weekend?

How long are you going to be in the Dallas area? You can go with me when I start climbing again in a few weeks. Jon

Austin: cave creek is great, I've been climbing in Arkansas for about 15years now I go to Fern a lot because it a shorter drive 4 me and I got a buddy who just started climbing and I just got him started leading sport. The cave only has about 3-4 sport routes under 5.9 for him to get his feet wet. Might hit the fern this weekend if the weather is good. Is it raining there now? The weekend after is 24hours of hell @ HCR, 200+ people might find a partner there, don't think I'm going to that though, they aren't dog friendly these days and I don't like to pay to play.I have been to 24hours of hell in the past and it's a good party but I am to hung over to climb the next day but if you have never been you should check it out. I saw on your profile u fish, a couple weekends I was at the fern and went to shores lake which is about a mile down the road from fern and caught two 20+ lbs flatheads night fishing. I will send u a message Friday after work when we head that way and your more than welcome to climb, camp, fish with us. Is it raining there?
