I believe that the French Connection is the ending of the route he is on, when it traverses right from the anchor.
I'm not sure but the beginning may be The Zone? I thought there was an 11x in there but he seemed to place a decent amount of gear.

Love it! This actually makes me want to take a few vacation days and head over to Joshua Tree for the first time. Cool to see a well-edited video that gives shows it would be like to climb there with my buds. Thanks for posting it!
