So I bought the Kindle version of the book to see what it was like and was amazed that it had no table of contents or even a list of all the areas covered. I sent an email to Wolverine about it yesterday asking if this was an oversight or if they didn't include one on purpose. Haven't heard back yet.
I bought the Kindle version too and took it to Maple a couple of weeks ago on my iPhone. I'm sure the book was a lot of work but I wasn't very impressed with it. The Mountain Project iPhone app was much more useful. There is very little in the book that isn't already on MP and the MP app is so much better to use. Really I'm looking forward to DK's book that I pre-ordered here: Maple Canyon Climbing
Tristan - The lack of a Table of Contents was not intentional. The Maple Canyon epub we created had a very nice table of contents. Unfortunately, it got lost in the conversion to Amazon's "mobi" format. It's the first time we've grapped with epubs and the multiple formats and standards out there, so forgive us. We've uploaded new files to Amazon; the ibook will be on sale there -- with a TOC -- within 48 hours. The ibook with Table of Contents is also now available on Barnes and Noble. This version will work with Nooks and any other smart-phone/pad with a B+N app. barnesandnoble.com/w/maple-…
