You are welcome Pat. Glad I was there to see it. Also great that Chen and Scott got Hard Day... and Julie got Gettin' Off The Porch. Send train was ripping up the tracks on Sunday. Very cool.

no kidding! the sissies are even using knee pads. AID!!!!

Yeh with all of my extensive trad climbing experience(cough cough).
Hey EFR, do you think there is a safe way to protect that thing with trad gear?

I suggest nippleit put his (or her) money where his mouth is and come show us weak, sissy Mt Lemmon climbers how it's done...
My guess is he has "better things to do" than back it up...

Except for a few notable exceptions (Chace, Decker, Sherman), Boulder climbers have been using that excuse for at least 35 years! Magnificent looking route, and fantastic video -- inspring, humbling, amazed.

The draws are pre-hung because of the sheer overhang and length of the climb. Having set gear makes the climb possible to clean. Without it the overhang would make cleaning the route as tiring as climbing it. Or do you have something else you are trying to say?

NippIeit wrote: I think you mean having pre-hung draws makes it possible to not clean. If you are going to clean it anyway then why are you pre-hanging the gear? Mea, I have seen more over-hung stuff cleaned, you just need a tram draw on the bottom. I mean, it's not the pipe-dream or anything.

Why do you trolls feel the urge to give unsolicited, and rather stupid, opinions about anything while you don't even know what you are talking about? What do you need to prove? did the other kids beat you up in school today?

Do you really think you know better, by just looking at a video, than the people that have been working and climbing in this area for decades? Can you genius tell me how much this climb really overhang? Do you even know that this video only shows the top half of it?

Why don't you get your ass out of your egg shell (and your mom's home), drive more than 100 miles away from Boulder Canyon, and witness the real climbing, rather than filling this forum with such pointless and arrogant comments?

Maybe you need to drive more than 100 miles to a real climbing area and then we can have a real discussion. In the meantime, who do you think is living more in an isolated environment? Me in Boulder or you in Tucon? Not a hard question to answer. Peace.

Hey, Essay, you're not on your (other) troll account right now. Might want to log back in. Didn't see you on The Joker when I visited Flag. Very disappointed.

Pretty funny stuff. Some trolls just can't keep their shit straight.

How does the saying go?

"consider the source"

Colonel Mustard · · Sacramento, CA · Joined Sep 2005 · Points: 1,257

Now we can await some classic troll excuses or a quick delete! I just feel badly for the guy though, two troll accounts to practice on and he's still pretty crappy at it.

I knew it would be deleted once (s)he figured out that (s)he made that comment from the wrong troll account. It has to be difficult to keep the lies in order when you are pretending to be multiple persons from multiple cities and states at the same time.

Got to love the quote button!

Essay is a woman, and just FYI, she is from Albuquerque. She is nice in person, but not so nice when she gets behind a keyboard.
