My climbing partner and I are just starting to get outdoors. We've TR with an acquaintance who Trad Climbed and helped set the rope for us. However, my climbing partner and I are looking for routes that are easy to access the anchors or chains from a hike up. So that we can show up with a rope and some quick draws and easily TR while we acquire more gear and learn proper top belaying, knot work, and lead climbing techniques.
Any suggestions in the Boulder/Golden/Eldorado Canyon Area is much appreciated. FYI we've only TR at Happy Hour Crag so far. (minus gym work)
A good book that I used when I was in Boulder last summer is Front Range Topropes by Fred Knapp. It lists tons of areas around Boulder, Estes Park, Golden, etc...
