Don't you dare bring my idol into this thread! He is leading the way in ice progression. You bite your tongue!

OK, I'm on board now with this knot. Thanks for the safety clarification.

I definitely think that more than one rope is the way to go... that way you can have different sized monkey puzzle knots to jam in the crack and rest on if needed. Way quicker than having to pull something off your gear loop.
And I definitely agree w/ Stitch, the 2nd photo is WAAAAYYYY more of a problem than the first.

I wish I needed that many pixels to blur mine out. Was that Chuck Norris?!?

I am shocked and disappointed at the Mountain Project Community for taking a serious safety issue and bringing it down to such uncouth decadence!
How dare you!
I may have to tender my MP resignation.

Resign??? Absolutely knot!

I may not be an admin, but I did stay at a holidaze inn express some time ago.

triple retraced figure-8 knot with 3 extra passes -- Here's the problem. Maybe go with fours, so you can get a more true double redundancy.

We no longer have adequate protection from primates. If you're not safe from monkeys you ain't safe!

Absolute genius, GreggerMan

I'll never tie in again without laughing.

Time to buy an 80m rope, since a good 30ft. of it is going to be in my knot with this.

This knot is definitely top notch!!!! Could someone put on a clinic at a local climbing shop to instruct me in the proper use there of?

I like the part where he says-"webbing is the best,'cuz itz static; when you fall it exerts the most force on your tools". Dude had me sold fer a second there.

Beautiful knot, must be pretty easy to untie once loaded....

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
