RMNP conditions

Cause it wasn't a mild winter nor was it dry. From a friend that lives near RMNP: "After 20 years, I've never seen so much snow up there".

The picture says it all. My favorite berry patch that I ususally forage around this time of year is burried under 6 feet of snow. We tried to get up to Sky Pond early Sunday morning but got turned back by frozen snow that was more like early fall transition neve. Bring crampoons!
