Climbing spots along the Appalachian Trail Question?

Hi folks,

I am curious if there is any climbing area alogn the Appalachian Trail. Figure it may be a bit boring to just do hiking, so if there is some climbing involve, it would be fun.

McAffey's Knob in Virginia. Be aware you will no doubt meet some interesting charecters on the trail.

At the midpoint in Pine Grove Furnance SP is Pole Steeple, where there might be a couple of trad routes. It's not too far from where I live, but I haven't checked out the climbing there yet. Also, at the Delaware Water Gap along the PA-NJ border. And Katahdin of course.

St. John's Ledge in Kent, CT. The AT passes right along the base of the cliff.

Top Blood Mtn, Ga by the cabin there is a bunch of bouldering.

If you think "just hiking" is boring... why hike?

Hiking is fun, don't get me wrong. But hiking all the time may not be want I intend to do. Putting in some climb would make the trip more fun, in my opinion :)
