Mt. Woodson Article, Sign On San Diego

My wife stumbled upon this article regarding the radiation emitted from the radio towers on Woodson. Apparently they may exceed FCC standards. |

This just made the cover photo of the Sunday San Diego Union Tribune's North Inland. |

It's probably best that boulderers don't breed anyway. |

Ok, I just actually read the article. This line was priceless: |

"FCC website says that the main health concern from radio frequency waves is tissue damage from heating, caused by the transfer of energy to water molecules, similar to what happens inside a microwave. Eyes and testes are the most vulnerable, the website says." |
|
|
"As long as the posted warnings are obeyed, the radio frequency waves do not pose a danger, an FCC spokesman said. " |

I don't buy it either. Besides, not all of the antennas are fenced. It makes me wonder what goes on inside the brick building. I believe the fence is more for security purposes, and not to stop people from entering the area of unacceptable square radio waves. |
