Anyone got suggestions for narrow climbing shoes? I'm an 11 so I can't use the ladies shoe trick. I'm wearing the green anasazis right now which are in theory narrow, but they aren't working out.

thx all

Mythos? since they lace all the way to the toe you can kinda make them as narrow as you want. They work really well with my feet which are low volume.

JJNS is correct. Muiras are the best! By far the #1 on my list!

scarpas are really narrow (especially the technos). I have "european" feet but most scarpas (except for approach shoes) are too narrow for me.

Pretty much anything by Sportiva.
Definitely a +1 on the Muira vote for a kick ass all around great shoe.

Ditto on Sportiva and Scarpa.... I have narrow feet and have owned varieties of both. Best were the Scarpa Dominator and Muiras. The Scarpa Spectro looks just like the old Dominator, but may not be in stock anymore... it's lace-up too, to give you that extra tightening where you need it. Perhaps the new Mago... or Booster for velcro.

There's a chance that I have the narrowest, longest and lowest volume foot on the planet. All to often a shoes sides are touching when laced up tight leaving no room for stretch or additional cranking. Here's my experience with a few different shoes:

LaSportiva Mythos - Good for my feet but stretched like crazy. They blew out (due to weird lacing system) before they stretched all the way to where I couldnt tighten them any longer

5.10 Anasazi lace up Blancos - when laced tight the sides of the shoes are nearly touching. If they dont stretch I might be ok (they're synthetic, so hopefully no stretch?). I only use these for leading hard routes.

Scarpa Technos - Finally, a shoe that I dont think will ever stretch to the point I cant tighten them up anymore. I have a nice 1" to 1.5" gap. They are very snug, have a sweet heel lock system that works and are overall a good shoe.

LaSportiva TC Pro - Just got them today and havent climbed in them yet. Initial impression is that they'll be pretty good depending on stretch. I got these to be comfortable for multipitch and long routes and have a good 1.5" gap between sides.

+1 for Mythos and Scarpa. I have a narrow, low-volume foot, and they both work great for me - in fact, the women's Mythos is a tad narrow in the sole. I know I'm a woman and all, but, for instance, I've tried on every Evolv model that exists and not one was narrow or low-volume enough.

Ive always wanted a velcro shoe and every one Ive ever tried has been way too wide and high volume till I tried the Scarpa Force. Ive been very happy with it.

Not true!

Right on!

I tried on Muiras every year hoping somehow they would fit. They were not narrow enough. Last year I tried on the Scarpa Foroce (different from the Force) designed to compete with the Muira. The fit was amazing. Finally, a shoe narrow enough with the other features that I wanted. Scarpa is targeting narrower feet. I have owned several La Sportiva shoes as well. But, I'm getting a more precise fit with Scarpas.
