Pat Ament will be bringing his new Disciples Of Gill film to New Mexico this spring!

Friday, March 5th, 7PM, Albuquerque. Hosted by the UNM Mountaineering Club and the Lobo Climbing Team.

Saturday, March 6th, 7PM, Santa Fe. Hosted by Sangre De Cristo Mountain Works.

This place is new to me, so I really appreciate the help.

Pat is one of the best and he invested a lot of soul to put this film together.
Everyone that has seen this film has said that it's a very important piece of work. And for you boulderers that aren't fully immersed in the history of the art, here's your chance!

any chance of doing a showing in Las Cruces? I know the NMSU outdoor adventure program did a showing of the REEL Rock Film tour last fall, maybe they would be interested in hosting Disciples of Gill?

Did some dirt bags figure out a way to get their hands on some student funds ? If so, hats off.

I tried hard to put a Las Cruces show together. I got a lot of interest, but no one committing to helping with leg work, or paying for the venue. It was frustrating.
Drag a few guys to ABQ!!

The Lobo Climbing Team is a creation of Timy Fairfield I believe.
I don't know what they're all about.
Student funds? Maybe.....

I attended the world premiere of this film in Boulder and convinced Pat to show it down here in Phoenix last Monday night. Having seen it twice, I heartily recommend it to anyone who has an interest in either the origins of modern bouldering or even in the history of rock climbing itself. If you live in N.M., you really won't want to miss this.
