"Rest Day" activities near RR

Off the Stratosphere, or other high structures, casinos, Hank?! Sounds like fun, but one may end up at C.C.D.C, and/or your friendly neighborhood Psych ER if caught. I went up in a Hot Air balloon with two B.A.S.E jumpers I knew over the State Line at Primm. I believe it wasn't legal, but we parked a car at each end of the highway on the dry lake bed, and got out of there quickly. I didn't jump (no way, never, ever will I B.A.S.E. jump, especially that close to the ground!!), but watched them jump; saw them close to some power lines, yikes! Fun times!

Runs all day, and uses waste water from the hotel and nearby hotels (so they say). I definitely wouldn't risk swimming in it.

Is it the Rio' that has the topless beach-pool area? Free park also at Excalibur, where you can walk to 5 or 6 close by casinos for the free entertainment, or just hang out on the strip and watch the freaks walk by all night.

Supposedly some patrons of The Sapphire couldn't maintain appropriate-like behavior, so the S.T.P. was shut down; RIO is sort of a Ghetto-ish locals hang out these days. I wouldn't doubt it if pimps, and prostitutes were running a business poolside, and/or maybe even some disgruntled lovers having one too many D.V. episodes there.

There's the Tao Beach at the Venetian, Moorea at the Mandalay Bay, the Wynn's got one, Bare at the Mirage, Venus at Ceasars, Beach Club 25 at the Stratosphere; not speaking from experience, of course....

Well you can see I've not been there much lately to know all the hot spots. Agree that down on Lake Mead or the Colorado is much more fun for water sports and 'viewing fun.

So it looks like we are definitely heading out there for the week of the 19-27. PM if anyone wants to join up and crag a little.
