I checked out your table of contents. It looks like a big project that you have taken on. Thanks for posting the free topos and the table of contents. I noticed that you have Moonstone/Houlda Point. It is actually "Houda" point. Also, the topo for the Sharks Fin at Footsteps has more bolts and anchors than are actually there. If you need some help proofing/checking the Redwood Coast section before you release the book, I'd be happy to lend a hand.

Thanks, that was a typo, we got it right in the climbing section. As for the bolts, I got the beta from Eric and his topo. If you look closer on the topo you'll notice a separate detail of the sharks fin including all the routes.

The book is now available online at Barnes and Noble for $36 ($39 for non-members) at

Hi Tom,

I have been eyeing your book since I heard about it awhile back, but was a bit floored when I saw on Maximus that it was $50 (it still is). Why is it cheaper at Barnes and Noble? I guess I would rather pay you and Marty the cash instead of Barnes and Noble, but $14 is $14.....is there any way to purchase the book from you guys for the cheaper price?

Thanks for the effort.

If you're a memeber at B&N then it's $36, if not, it's $39. They're a big a$$ store with a lot of resources. Email me and I'll work with ya. Thanks, I appreciate it. Tom

I just ordered this book, i CAN'T WAIT for it to be delivered. It will be key in planning my road trip this June-thanks for putting it together, looks like a massive effort was involved. It has everywhere I need to know about and am planning on going-plus some stuff I would have never thought about. Thanks so much!!!!
