Clear Creek or Boulder canyon Ice today?

If anyone wants to check out boulder canyon ice sometime give me a ring. Otherwise there are a few things that are in down in clear creek. I have screws, rope, extra crampons and tools. Let me know, 970-319-4578 have a good one Jon.

was up in clear creek canyon on saturday and it looked like the ice needed just a little more time.

9 news had pictures up of someone climbing in CCC this weekend, so the word is out now!

I was up there as well on saturday, the ice was great! There was sufficient ice for leading, we climbed coors lite, as well as the other little flow just up the creek from where you park. Also top-roped a fun mixed line. There were two other parties on sat, and saw two cars on the way back from Lincoln falls on sun.

FYI.. No ice in Boulder canyon

Does anybody know for sure if there is likely to be ice in BoCan this season? Holes in the aqueduct and all that...

I live in Golden and have been wanting to climb clear creek ice for a while, however I've only ever toproped ice and want to get into leading. Anyone want to show me the ropes? I'm free to go out any day this week, except for obligations Tuesday at noon and Wed at 4 pm.

I've got everything I need to climb except for screws. Lets get out!

I've also only seconded ice so I won't be much help with leading. I do live in Golden and I'd like to get out and to some top roping if you're down. I have ice gear (only 2 screws though)and am safe. Evenings and weekends work best for me.
