Moving to Spokane, looking for partners

My family is relocating to Spokane in January (moving from Flagstaff, AZ). I'm quite intrigued by the climbing possibilities that I have seen in Marty Bland's guide and the latest Rock and Ice. I'm especially interested in the hard sport routes at Deep Creek, Mettaline, Marcus and China Bend. I'm interested in meeting partners to get out with. We officially move to Spokane in mid-January and I suspect that climbing during that time of year is hit or miss. I will be in town to look for housing 11/4-11/10 and would like to get out for a day or two. Look forward to becoming a member of the local climbing community.

Dude have fun in Spokane! I lived in the area for about 6 years, get used to climbing at Wild Walls during the winter though. Try to get out to Vantage if it warms up, pretty nice climbing. Deep Creek and Post Falls, Idaho are my personal favorites.

Cheers

Welcome to the area. People are still out climbing at Deep Creek, sometimes the Pit gets a little sun and it's not too unpleasant. It's kind of hit or miss right now.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
