Weekday Climbing Partners

I'm new to the area and looking to meet up with weekday climbing partners. I left all my long time partners back in California, so I'm starting over here. Most of my experience is in trad, but any type of climbing is great. Highly motivated to get out on the rock a few days every week, weekdays and some weekends, and prefer to climb with more experienced partners. And above all, have a good time.

Hey Michele
Any interest in getting out tomorrow for a bit? I'd be interested in getting to Eldo or maybe Cob in Boulder Canyon for some slightly long, aka more than one pitch, trad climbs. I've lived in the area off and on for over a year and have a decent grasp on things. Feel free to shoot me a reply or call at 518-637-8075.
Cheers
Mark

I'm free on Wed or Thursday. I'm also usually free any day during the week until May 20 when I leave for Europe for the summer. You can call me until midnight, 303 809 4713.

Hi Michele,

I am looking for more people to climb with, and work on trad and my "lead head". I have been climbing on and off for about 4 years now, am just getting back into it and am looking to get out there and get stronger and better, but mostly to have fun and meet more people. I will follow pretty much anything, but like I said, I am still working on leading comfortably. I'm pretty familiar with most of the climbing in the area, and am available during the weekdays (8:30 - 2:30) or so.

Let me know if you'd like to climb sometime.

Weekdays are the best time to climb, especially in Eldo, so I try to get out one or two weekdays a week. Because I am self-employed, my boss has a pretty liberal time-off policy, although he has found that climbing does not contribute much to the profitability of the business. I live and "work" in Lakewood. I'll be 62 this fall and am thus probably more conservative than the younger generation that I usually climb with. But I love to climb, learn every time I go out, earned my AMGA SPI license last year, lead trad in the 5.7-5.8 Eldo range and follow in the 5.9-5.10a Eldo range. Weekday climbing partners are sometimes hard to find, and although I have a few "regulars" at this point, I am always happy to meet someone new. If interested, feel free to call or email me.
Best regards,

Hello, thank you all for your notes. I am going to call or send replys to each of you shortly.

By the way, I am available to climb next Tues - Fri and almost any weekday from then on. I'm still open to climbing weekends if it's in an uncrowded area. Since I am new here, I do not know where the lesser known crags are.

Hi,

I am looking for partners to climb with on weekdays, after work. I can lead 5.10 trad and sport and can follow 5.11. I love to crack climb! I have been climbing in this area for 8 years. Send me an email if you are interested - mary@stoneseeker.com.

Thanks Shawn. Your routes look great as well. Joshua Tree is the best!

And Mary, an email is on the way.

I can climb during week when I'm in town. I'm partial to the platte these days.

It's been nice climbing with a few new partners so far. I want to add that I'm not limited to the Boulder area and am open to going anywhere within a 4-5 hour drive from here...and further for excellent climbing areas. Weekdays are preferred but also open to weekends.

Nick,

I might be up for Wednesday, depending on the conditions. I know that they had snow up there this morning, and there is rain in the forcast as well - just in case you decide to go tomorrow. Let's touch base if things look good for Wed.

wow. it's good to see so many people avid about climbing and finding partners. I just got back into town and psyched to start climbing again (I took a little leave of absence during ski season) so i'm going to be looking for partners too. I can climb today (wed. May 14th), but i think my job is going to start soon and then I will be limited to evenings and weekends. Shoot me a message if anyone needs a partner.

I have rope, rack, experience, and prefer trad.

I think I'm going to attend MP beer night, so hopefully we can talk then!

I'm looking for a partner for next Monday or Tuesday morning in Boulder Canyon. It's a long story, but I'm only free from 9-1, still, that's enough time for a short sport session.
Just about any crag would suit me!

Hey Mark,

I'll let you know if i can get one of those days to be a full day of climbing I'd love to get out the other for a shorter session. I just cant justify the drive down for two short days.
