Anybody know what the conditions are like in Moab around this time of year typically? Temp, chance of snow, camping conditions. And where would be good places to climb that would be on the warm side-ie sunny. Thinking of heading out over Christmas if it will be relatively nice and doing some climbing and mountain biking.
I'm pretty sure that when it was colder in Indian Creek we chose Scarface, Cat wall, and Supercrack for walls that get sun the earliest....but hopefully someone can double check me on that. As for the other info I have no clue sorry.
Well, my experience has been that the winter months in/around Moab are pretty hit or miss. You could have 60's and sunny or 40's and snow; it just depends on cold front and moisture/storm activity. Whatever the day temps are, nights and camping will be cold, maybe very, very cold. But, they say cold temps make our shoe rubber stickier, and the hiking/biking around can't be beat if its too cold to climb. Or, you could drive a bit more and hit Zion or the R.Rocks for more stable conditions.

p.s. And try posting this in the South Utah forum, too.
I spent about 5 days out in Moab last x-mas and before that about 7 days in Indian Creek the previous Jan. Those are typically the two coldest months out there. However, if you have a sunny day with no wind you'll be fine to climb. If you plan on camping be prepared for really cold nights. In IC I usually awoke to about 12 deg each morning. Kinda makes it hard to get out of your bag! If it were me I would just check the 10 day outlook before committing and if you see nothing but sunshine go for it.
