Kayte and I are flying back to Wisconsin on Tuesday. Would anyone be interested in a bouldering session at Governor Dodge? We could climb on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday. We're spending Thursday with the fam. We're flexible as far as times, but we probably won't have a pad. Any takers?

Jay, we're taking the boy to a waterpark on either Sat or Sun, if it works out to boulder some Saturday I would be psyched-- Steve and I were tentatively planning to go out to the Dodge one of those two days anyway. Even if I can't get out with you, you are welcome to borrow my pads if you want. Weds/Thurs/Fri are out for me though. PM me if you want/need a couple pads. Chris

Hey Jay. I will be at the dodge tomorrow with a couple of pads if you guys are still psyched to get out there. We've never met previously but it would be very cool to meet up.

I'm probably going to head out on Friday for a few hours if anyone is interested. I only have one pad, but I'm happy to share.

Went out today. The snows are definitely a hindrance on some problems that don't get as much sun as others. Hopefully the high temps tomorrow will help things melt off a bit more.

I was wondering about the snow issue. Suggest bringing a broom? Was there bad seeping from the melt? What else sees good sun besides Camp B? But besides that FRICTION will be good!

A broom might be helpful. The only problem is that on the back bone at least you have to walk like 50 yards through the snow to get to the base of a problem after topping out. The far side of the backbone/camp b receives good sun but the side with hangman seems to stay in the shade most of the day. All the slopers on hangman had about an inch of snow on them. I left at 11 yesterday so hopefully more melting occurred and more will occur today. Given that minimal melting had occurred yesterday everything was very dry and seepage was not a problem. Friction was of course at an all time high.
