I have looked at several climbs for years and I am getting up the guts to try them. Does anyone have recent topos/photos/info for:
1)N. Ridge of Half Dome (5.10d?)
2)North Buttress Route of Middle Cathedral (Harding route)
3)Chouinard-Herbert Route on Sentinel Rock

Funny...these are on my todo list as well. One more I would add is the Northeast Buttress of Upper Cathedral..unless you've already done it!

I have heard a lot of people say that it was just so-so

Here's a photo on the Chouinard-Herbert from July:

The Meyers/Reid topo is accurate.

The NE Buttress of Higher Cathedral is the best grade IV in the park. My first summer in the Valley I climbed with a guy who had done the N. Butt on Middle Cat and thought it was OK. Just long with a few 5.9 and a .10a pitch. Looks like you can simulclimb lots of it. Should be good adventure.

I don't think you're going to find any info on Half Dome's N. Ridge. Good position though.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
