Barbequed buzzworm with plenty of BBQ sauce.
Mmmmmmm, now you're talkin'
Almost have enough of them to make a pair of boots!

Whattup Benjammin? Are you going to grace us with your presence today?

Tom got your message, super busy here at work.

Unfortunately I will not be in attendance today.

Great time pulling down with all you fellars tonight. I think we should add a letter to everything we did based on the mosquito factor alone.... Those nasty little bloodsuckers were heavy, not to mention the distraction factor on the belayer.

These mid-week sessions are just the medication I need.
I agree with you Lee. The mosquitos and particularly the ninety-nine percent humidity made grabbing the cobbles feel like chasing the proverbial greased pig. That dose last night might just last me til Saturday.
It was great to meet Ryan, who joined us last night and it was great to climb with Shawn again.
Lee and Brian. It had been a while. Great to have you two back in the fold, and it is always great to have my old partner in crime, Mike, getting out regularly again.

Tom, it was a pleasure. Thanks for ringleading! I didn't finish telling you the story, but you're a celebrity in the Park office.

I forgot to bring your post with crag beta, so Ryan and I went in to ask if they'd print it off MP. One of the women said "Oh, it's Tom's post. You're in good hands. He'll show you all the good climbs." The other chimed: "He wrote our guidebook. Here...do you want to buy one?" The first rejoined: "I have a signed copy." The second volleyed: "Well, I'm going to have him autograph my shirt." The other tugged her shirt down off one shoulder: "Well, I'm going to..."

We hurried out while the bidding was still PG-13.

Lee, Brian, good to meet. Mike, great catching up.

PS: 2/3 of the story is true :)

LOL. Thanks Shawn. That really made me chuckle, and made my day.
I'm looking forward to the next time we can link up and climb, though I know your schedule is getting back to very busy for a while.

Tom and I are talking about knocking off early tomorrow to get some extra laps in. I'm going to bring a newby with me. She needs 5.6 to 5.8. Can we find an area that will satisfy the hangdogs in all of us?

Mike - If I can get off of work early (2-2:30)I'll consider The Dungeon, however since it represents the longest approach in the canyon it isn't really worth going to for an hour and a half of daylight. I only want to do the Lucas Homestead-Rim Rock Trail approach, since I don't want to thrash the snake infested Falls Wall Trail at dusk.
Chances are good that I'll get to the Homestead parking area around 2:40, so Dungeon will work.

Nice climbing with you guys last week! I'm climbing in Golden tomorrow. How many more weeks do you think these after work sessions will last? I should be able to join next week.

Jeff. . .nice hair. I'm glad you replaced that mullett!!!

Hi Tracy,

It was great meeting and climbing with you too.
We'll keep up the Wednesday sessions until the days are too short to make it practical.

As it is, we have to ditch work early to make a decent event of it. So, not many more. Then again, I can't afford to vacation anywhere and I do have some time saved up. So, why not leave work early every Wednesday?

PS Same mullett. Just gave it a perm and a little colour.

....sheer festering jealousy!

Hope y'all hit it once or twice after November 4th. Hey, that's a Tuesday! Tom, wouldja be willing to pick a sunny clime for gathering on the 5th? Please...

It's in my calendar.

EDIT: For 2:00 p.m. And, Tracy, is that decent...what you said?

This is a family website. Of course it is decent!!! I save the indecent stuff for gym climbing threads or when Kirra and Kateri unknowingly egg me on.

Yes. . I think it means Have fun or get hurt bad. I also just recently learned what DCCCCC meant and then someone threw the HFOGHB acronym at me. I like it!

My Wednesday session is going to have to wait until Saturday this week, when I'll be headed for The Dungeon.

Lee Smith · · Unknown Hometown · Joined Sep 2003 · Points: 1,545

Yeah, me too. I am suffering from a debilitating STD.

Actually, it is just a bad case of poison ivy, something I have never been allergic to before this.

Anyone in for this week?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
