Dude, don't be feeding the masses bunk info. I actually talked my wife into going by there after work to get one, and they had them in the store, but "they were not ready to be sold yet." What????? Now my wife is mad she went there, and I still don't have the new guidebook. Drats! Plus, why is it the Durango Sandstone Guide when all of the new climbing going up is on granite or quartzite??

Cpt. E, I climb with Ian a lot, so I will answer your question. No, no anchor set-up, just the hack fixed anchors.

Shah, brah, I've got TWO snowmobiles and a Bosch Annihilator!! Ian-my wife went to Pine Noodle yesterday and they would not sell her a book. Bummer. How is the new guidebook??

Have not seen a anchor on any climb at lemon other than the shoddy chain jobs. Don't know why they told your wife they weren't for sale they must have not know they were checked in yet. By the way I wish I had a Boush and a snowmobile!

I think that we should keep this thread going as long as possible. Rock on Durango!! Ian-I saw Kevin today and told him if you guys want to take the Bosch for a walk sometime, I'd be down to join you. Also, once it snows, lets take the sleds out ice climbing or skiing. Have a great weekend, we're climbing at the Pine on Sunday.

Thanks Cpt. E. I think with the guidebook back out, the traffic at Lemon is going to increase, and with it being such a cool place there is no excuse to have questionable anchors. With a little bit of work, we could make the place a lot safer, for now and in the long run.

Talked to Jimmy Simons and Mike Shepard two of the lemon developers on Sunday and they said it would be cool if we replaced the anchor hardwear. Mike admitted that they were kind of bunk and should be replaced so I guess what I am saying is lets put some money/work into this before someone gets hurt. See you out there.
