If anyone is interested in climbing this seldom climbed spire, please let me know. I'm sure I can follow, but probably can't lead the route. I can drive to get there (4x4 required). Weekends are my only option, however.

Thanks!

So have you scoped this thing from the base? What's the 10c/d hands/fists crack like? clean falls? Do you drive close to it on the way to BRCM? I think I remember looking at something like that thinking it looked sweet. single pitch I would guess?

Too bad no one seems to have climbed it recently to give us some first hand info. I might be willing to give it a shot in a couple weeks/a month that would be good for my training cycle. If nothing else aid could be applied.

Jason - No, I haven't scoped it from the base. The route info I have is from Hubbel's guidebooks. The approach is the same for BRCM, but you don't drive as far. I believe the old road in Northrup Gulch is closed, but is rideable on a mountain bike. If it is open (which I don't think it is) the hike/approach is about 2.25 miles, 600' gain RT. If it is NOT open, it looks like it would add about 3 miles and 700' of gain RT on a bike or on foot. I'd sure like to get up it.

I think Allen Hill said he'd climbed it a long time ago, you might hit him up for some info.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
