Anybody know Dan Cohen in Phoenix? (oops, no biggie after all, sorry)

Hi,

Dan bought some stuff from me, and there's been a problem with his payment. If anyone out there knows him, please urge him to contact me immediately by phone. I don't want to escalate this any further, but I will soon start screaming bloody murder if I don't hear from him ASAP (yes, I emailed him. Repeatedly.)

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. I hope this is just a dumb mistake and my vicious side will not be needed.

Sorry for the panic - everything turned out okay. I was freaking out because I thought I had been screwed and this is NOT the case after all.

No need to go in to the details, but suffice it to say that Dan Cohen is 100% okay by me. He made the extra effort required to clean this all up. Please accept my apologies for an inconvenience and/or doubt I cast on Dan.

Alls well that ends well.

i was a bit surprised to see this post. as others have said, dan is an honest guy and doesn't like to make enemies. perhaps next time wait a bit to figure things out before posting something like this for all to see?

I don't blame Jerome for posting. A payment for some gear he sold me failed due to a bank error. This was after a misunderstanding between us on the payment method. I don't have the internet at my house (where I'm living for another week) and didn't come into work yesterday. Jerome was unable to get a hold of me, and it looked like I could have been trying to screw him over. He did not accuse me of anything, he was just trying to cover himself. I have nothing but good things to say about Jerome; he was understanding and patient through a bunch of crap.

I appreciate those who know me defending my name, as well as Jerome quickly updating this post to reflect the nature of the whole thing.

This post should not reflect poorly on Jerome, he was extremely cool throughout the whole thing.

ok, it seems there's no harm done. i'm sure that if i had been in jerome's position i would also have been worried about being ripped off. luckily it appears this whole thing has been sorted out. we're looking forward to seeing you back in tucson, dan!

Hey, if Spectreman asks, you haven't seen me. And I don't have any of his chalk.

I'll be back in Tucson around the 24th. Hopefully in a month or so I'll be healed from my fall at the Leap. If not, I'll be forced to return to my true calling, competitive eating. Looking forward to climbing with you dudes.
