A big problem in my area. |

I've seen it ruin the lives of those near and dear to me. |

Meth addiction is a major problem among housewives in Salt Lake. It was made public by a young film student who discovered that her middle-class mom was strung out on the drug. Apparently these suburban moms caught on to the realization that they could achieve super soccer mom stamina, stay trim, and still have energy in the bedroom while under the influence of Meth. The SLC police chief self-admittedly is perplexed by the problem and its social implications. |

I hope this wasn't the "IdRaHaJe" camp. We almost sent our daughter there this year and my husband went there as a child as well as his mother. I'd hate to see anything bad happen to that place!! |

Meth is the reason my car has been broken into twice here in Hawaii. Methheads will do anything here to get it. |

Meth is one of the most neuro-toxic drugs that one can put in their body. Right up there with alcohol. |

Yeah Mark back in 2002 I helped clean up the remains of a meth lab on Forest Service land off of the 550 rd south of Buffalo Creek. It was near DeGaulle's Nose. If I knew then what I know now about the residue it leaves on everything I would not have helped with that job. We did not have the proper safety equipment to be touching any of the stuff that we moved out of there. |

TWEAKERS SUCK!! Richard Radcliffe wrote:Meth is one of the most neuro-toxic drugs that one can put in their body. Right up there with alcohol. LOL. Comparing tweak to alcohol is one of the funniest things I've read this week--and I just read the Aaron thread. I really hope you're talking about rubbing alcohol. |

I'm super glad I didn't touch anything! It dawned on me pretty hard once you told me about cleaning it up what I had been looking at.... |

Wow, I have to say I never thought that the place where I got married (Aug 03) would be evacuated for a meth lab cleanup. |

It's hazmat & explosives categories which are high in personal protection classification. |

For something horrifying, check out Montana Meth Project. These ads are scary. If they are still around when my boy gets older, I will probably sit down and make him watch a few. Having a close relative that has battled addiction with this, I don't think they are too far off the mark. |
