Any documented routes? Its the obvious east facing low-angle slab you see coming down the canyon above the S-curves. I searched three or four places and couldn't find any info.

Is it the slab on the south side of the road as you're approaching the S-turn from up canyon? If so, I've seen ski tracks on it...

Not the one up the Mill B trailhead but further up canyon...the one that seems to slide and cover the road each winter. Looks like it might have low angle crack / slab routes....but I'm assuming ski tracks = don't waste my time?

I've spent some time up at the Millstone, and, the slab that forms the top of those climbs (huge) seems to be about the same angle. 3rd class as most, methinks, although I'll admit I want to go climb that thing, just for fun. Rock is pretty neat looking.

If it is the one I am thinking about, I would go up there and explore with someone. It looks easy but would be fun to get out and romp around on.

If its the one straight across from Moss Ledges...I soloed it last weekend. Seemed like around 1600 vertical. Mostly lower angle, 40 degree-ish slick quartzite. In some places, you can drop off the edge of the arete and milk a higher angle experience and force it to easy fifth class climbing. Mostly bomber rock, some loose, but, some pretty slick spots on the main slab too (but never without something to hold onto). Kind of like the West Slab on Olympus, only less steep. I initially over shot the approach and was up too high, so, had to go back into the forest to get to the base of the rock. Doesn't start too far above the creek. On the way down (easier to see the way) game trails through the woods made it fairly quick, and, an old trail lead over to the main Mill B trail for an easy romp back to the parking lot. This trail takes off right after the bridge crosses the creek in Mill B and switchbacks up the east side of the drainage. Kinda fun. Kinda hard on the back (with all the leaning over). Some of it you can walk up. Approach shoes were good enough for me. Great views of the Millstone. Got some long distance shots of folks climbing over there. Pretty fun. Did kinda look around and sniff to see if there was any Millstone-esque opportunities, but, mostly pretty busted and short on the west side of the arete. Not inspiring. Cheers, -Brian in SLC
