Anyone been up in the park skiing since the storm earlier this week? I am wondering about snow conditions in the Flat top/ Dragontail area for a ski this weekend.

Was on Flattop last Sunday. It was in perfect condition. Snow has melted down below so u are in for a hike to get up the ridge line but snow is super hardpack and easy to walk on. Beautiful corn. We were off by 2 and it was just a touch too late - best to be off by noon-1pm or the bottom is pretty soft/sticky. We are going for Sundance Bowl Friday and Saturday am if you want to join us. Meeting at south gate Friday around 7:30am, Saturday at 8am.

Lambs slide had ski tracks on it last weekend and looked prime for another descent or two. The snow is stable and the base has a nice safe run out zone.

Julia, what part of Flattop did you ski down? We're going for attempt numero deux on Dragontail. My partner wants to possibly ski down it after we top out. I however like living so I will not. Thanks in advance for the info.

I spoke to someone who thought the park may have received 10"+ out of this storm....What day are you headed towards dragontail Tracy?

What is the approach to lambslide like right now? Hard pack or will you need to skin in(snowshoe)? Can you boot butt with a pair of running shoes and gaiters yet?

If you side step all the way down lambslide, does it count? What about the North Face, conditions?

We just did the classic easy/north part - right down the middle.
