Climbing With Kiddos On Sunday

Hi! Any parents and kids want to get out on Sunday for some climbing? I would like to stay local and climb either in Golden or Boulder. Or if you're kid friendly or just a big kid yourself I could sure use a partner. Looking to get out for 3-4 hours, nothing major.

I'm down. Why don't we go bouldering in the satellite boulders near the 2nd Flatiron. That is what I have done the past 2 weekends with my 4 y-o.

cheers.

TR - I'm looking into a Golden-area crag for Sunday, may be just the ticket. I haven't had Chloe out for a while now, and I could offer to bring Tzillas son as well. Just need some beta on if there's some stuff for them, I'll find out tonite. I'll post on the DCCC page

<<<<<<<<<<<<-----Hey look, I'll invite Capt. Spaulding too!

Hey Mikey,

Is that a self-portrait?

I might be able to get over to NTM or CCC on Sunday, and I am good with the kids; at least I won't eat them, no matter how much I threaten to.

Hiya! There is stuff up at Table for the kids. I plan on being there at the upper lot around 1:00. Let me know who's in.

This is great to see! Our kids are 7 1/2 and 2 1/2. We have not tried taking them out to any crag yet, mainly we're worried about what they'll get into while one of us is climbing and the other belaying. I'd love to hear about other people's experiences. Do your kids get bored within and hour and start whining? etc. Thanks!

Lee! Good to see that you're back in circulation. Sunday looks like a decent NTM day. Next time I belay you, just don't think too much as to what would inspire a guy to use Capt. Spaulding as an avatar. I was in a "I'm going to fire every one of the ****'s" mood the other morning before work. I forgot he was there until my comment posted, which is really strange considering the topic.

If folks are going to bring out the kids, just be damn careful on that trail, the buzzworms will be sunning themselves.

Me and my girlfriend would be interested in bringing a 3 year old up to the crag on Sunday. Table Mesa could be good.

I wouldn't mind getting to NTM earlier, since I have to leave around 3:00.

So everybody let me know your schedule and I will plan accordingly.

Mikey, next time you're belaying me I promise I won't think about ANYTHING.

We can be there at 9:00 also. Want to meet in the upper lot? We'll only stay until 12 or 1 as well.

I will be there at 9:00 as well. I drive a white Nissan pick up and you can recognize me by my world class ears.

Is anyone coming from Littleton with a big vehicle? My car started sputtering Herbie the Lovebug style today and I won't be able to get it to the shop till Monday. If someone is coming from Littleton and you have room for 2 little people and me please let me know. I still want to get out really bad. Otherwise I can't makeit. :-(

Tracy,

I live around Chatfield and Garrison, and I certainly could give you and your kids a ride. My truck is a King Cab but it has 2 little people seats in the cab.

Call me at 303 358-0468 and we'll talk....

I found a ride. Thank you Lee. I'll see you guys up there. I'll be there closer to 10 so I'll meet you up at the top. Any idea what area you guys will be at? Looks like good weather. Will be fun!

Jeez-us, Tracy, all this time we've been neighbors!

Just got in from a day of picking out a color to paint the M-bedroom and also which plants are going into the needs-to-be-redug front landscape because you know a guy can't just have fun all the time dammit;
the girls and I will be there between 9:00 & 10:00.
You'll recognize me as the guy who keeps getting bitched at just for offering a little beta.

Bro, you should hook up with the DougCo crew. We've had a run of at least 9-10 straight weekends now, maybe more.

We'll probably be there around 10 as well. It will be great to meet you guys. This will be interesting!
