It is sad what we will do for a dollar. Rape the hills and murder life. What a sorrowful legacy this man leaves behind.

So... since the injunction is invalid does that mean they'll be there mining tomorrow? What people will do for a buck amazes me. Its a crying shame.

There are notices posted at Rock Canyon today indicating that an agent acting on behalf of Richard Davis has applied for a conditional use permit to quarry rock from Rock Canyon.

The notices indicate that there will be an informational meeting for residents of the surrounding Provo neighborhoods at 8am on Saturday, March 28 in Rock Canyon Park.

Hey, if anyone is going to that meeting, could you please post and let everyone know what is said? Thanks.

Thanks for posting that, Perin. At this point it looks like this guy is fighting a losing battle and hopefully he will back off and sell to someone who is interested in conserving the land eventually. I guess we'll see. It's niec to see that there is some opposition to this crap, though.
