Well, we're getting ready to make the big switch this week.... we asked this question a while back and the results were mp.com, but we'll ask one last time (before it is too late!)

Do people like climbingproject.com or mountainproject.com???

It isn't too late to change, but it is getting close :)

"Climbing Project" is certainly more accurate, but I think that "Mountain Project" has a much better ring to it. I'm usually very careful to make the distinction between rock climbing and mountain climbing, but in this case I'd vote for staying with "Mountain".

Okay, I'll be the first to buck the trend... I like climbingproject better.

mountainproject for me; as I've already bookmarked it, the effort to change my browser is just to great a task.

mtnproject allows for a more flexible brand name that can be applied to a wider variety of technical routes.

I believe the best moniker is the all inclusive mountainproject.com.

MountainProject is fine. Its already got brand recognition, so there is no point changing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
