Climbing Near Mount Gilead, Ohio

Some fun boulders on the south side of Honey Run gorge. Most of the rocks are right around the falls but there might be a couple other worthwhile lines down the trail closer to the river. From the parking area, walk across the street and into the park. Stay on the trails to the right (south) side of the gorge and all the rocks will be on your right.

String of boulders on the north (left) side of the gorge. I did a few on the "Big Daddy" and "Flower Girl" boulders but the area still has a good number of undone lines. There is a small sloper arete at the end of the trail that needs cleaned and sent, as well as a small (6-10ft) wall under a big choss cliff that looks like it could have a couple fun lines on it if you bring out a wire brush. From the parking area, walk across the street and into the park. Stay on the trails to the left side of the gorge and all the rocks will be on your left.
