Description

Four routes begin off of two ledges above the Shift Work Area. All of them are accessed by climbing Summer Break Education.

The first two routes, Run from the Pump and Bankshot, begin off the lower ledge. There is a set of anchors here. They are helpful if you would like to work these routes while being closer to your belayer; however, both lines link easily with Summer Break Education, and are best climbed as one long, single pitch of the ground.

The other two routes, Beef by Candlelight and Tyger Burning Bright, begin off a second ledge higher up. They do NOT link well from the ground. To access them, first climb Summer Break Education as well as the first two bolts of Bankshot (9+). This will take you to the top of the giant, Dr.Seuss-looking block, where you will find a second set of chain anchors. Use them to belay up your second.

Use care pulling the rope after rappelling back to the ground. There is still some loose stuff on the lower ledge.
