Description

Elephant Toe Two is the second minor formation right of The Tusk and slight taller than Toe One. There are a few adventure routes meandering up to the summit. Prepare for some loose and less clean rock and wandering lines.

Getting There

Follow the same approach for the Perch and The Tusk, but cut right along the base of The Tusk, then past the first minor formation (Toe 1) and up to the next formation (Toe 2).

Descent

Scramble off the back of the Toe to a notch between several formations. Head climber's left into the gulley between Toe 1 and Toe 2, but traverse over the saddle when possible to the gulley between Toe 1 and The Tusk. Continue down this gulley past a few easy step-down moves to a final rappel from a tree on the skier's right side of the gulley (same as described in the descent for The Tusk), then rip down the scree/talus field or bounce over to another route.
