Description Suggest change

Right by the parking lot for the Tram line, there is a wonderful selection of high quality, historic boulders with rewarding climbs for relatively short approaches for the foothills. The rock quality is quite good, especially the closer that you are to the trailhead. Newer FA's could all use some cleaning, but cleaning results in good quality rock underneath the flaky choss.

There is an enormous amount of rock here, and FA's are greatly encouraged. If you feel like putting something up in the area, add it to mountain project, that would be awesome, as that means more sick routes for everyone to try.

Getting There Suggest change

At the only stop sign, where Tramway turns from east-west to north-south, head east to the lower terminal for the Sandia Peak Tramway. You can park in the Tram lot for a buck or try your luck parking in the neighborhood to the north, though I believe most of it is posted "no parking" on the streets.

GPS location is the Tram terminal parking lot, but if you are using GPS to get there you probably need help.
