Description Suggest change

E White Street bridge crossing Helms park and Boneyard Creek Second Street Basin, behind Boneyard Boulders and Radio Doctors in Champaign. Bridge is made up of bricks made from rock. Lots of crimps, flat jugs, and side pulls. Be sure to brush the holds because the mortar makes them pretty sandy. Holds sometimes slightly mossy but generally not too bad. Topout climbs by grabbing the cement ledge and then bars.

North side of the bridge is the most accessible with the only routes at the moment. South side of the bridge has nothing established yet, but looks to have larger holds with more brush blocking the landing. Routes on South Bridge now! East retaining wall South of the bridge also looks climbable, but nothing tried as of yet.

Any feedback on climbs or grades is welcome. Holds were initially pretty sandy but could be improved after some more thorough cleaning, which could make some climbs a bit easier. This area is definitely a work in progress so any input would be beneficial and appreciated! Also, if anyone has climbed here before, please reach out so proper credit can be given!

Getting There Suggest change

Walk down the slope along the bridge through the clearing in the brush.
