Access Issue: License required for access to Crockford–Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area Details

Lost wall is located in the Crockford-Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area which requires a license from the state of Georgia to access. You can purchase day or season passes online at gooutdoorsgeorgia.com/ with different prices/options available for residents and non-residents. There is no land access only option which makes the most affordable option the "Combo Hunting / Fishing" license. Rangers do periodically check for permits at the parking lot and you can also purchase licenses via the "Go Outdoors GA App."

Description

Prehistoric wall is a steep shear orange colored wall right off of the approach trail with 5 hard but rewarding routes.

Getting There

Prehistoric wall is about 0.3miles hike in from the parking lot. You pass the waterfall at Dixon Creek and stop half way between a talus field by Black Pig and marker 2.
