Description

As an area with many moderate classics and reasonable approaches, the Upper Bench is often a popular choice. Home to the classic sliver Sendero Illuminoso.

Getting There

Routes here can be accessed from the Lower Bench parking area or by driving further up the Hunter Creek Road (approximately 5 miles from the intersection with the Southfork Rd.) to the Boulder Basin trailhead.
