Description Suggest change

Development here started in summer of 2022. This is a great warm weather crag that faces northeast. Early in the season the cliff gets morning sun, but late in the season it is shady all day. The rock is a very hard quartzite with mostly bolted routes.

Getting There Suggest change

Heading south out of Ouray, drive 200 yards past the Engineer Pass terminus, and park at a pulloff on your right. There is an old mining flume on the left. Start hiking uphill on a trail that starts just to the right of the old flume. Where the trail meets a boulder outcropping, break left aiming for the toe of the talus field visible from the highway. Skirt the right edge of the talus field until you arrive at the crag after a 15 minute hike.
