Description

The peak with a striking north face above Hell for Sure Lake in the Red Mountain Basin, formerly called Peak 11,998'.

There is a single known route on this peak, which you can find in Secor or in the AAJ. There's certainly potential for more for those inclined to great self-effort.

Getting There

See parent page. Leave from the Maxson Trailhead and take the Blackcap Basin Trail to Red Mountain Basin Trail up to Hell for Sure Lake. 13-17 mile approach, depending on who's counting.
