Description
Free Radicals wall is the tall orange and grey streaked wall and the biggest you encounter at this point on the Periodic Table. This wall is more vertical and hosts the tallest clean rock on the table, devoid of the slabbier and more ledgy terrain that is to the right. This is a truly a wall for the high-born. Expect ~15 bolts on these dead vertical 30m+ pitches as they take you within grasp of the heavens. Currently there are 3 routes sitting in the high 5.12 to mid 5.13 range. The midway anchor for the route Half-Life, offers a good warmup for the area.
Getting There
After accessing the front side of the table, hike past the walls and the sidewalk that divides Helium & Precious Metals. This is the next panel to the right. Stay close to the wall, accessing the base of this panel is a bit steep for 20 feet or so, or go a bit farther and cut back up to access the base/belay zone.
