Description Suggest change

Mount Nebo is an exceptionally prominent and lonely peak, located near Mona, UT. It is the tallest point in the Wasatch, isolated far south of most of its other brothers and sisters. For this reason, Mount Nebo tends to see less traffic than many other Wasatch peaks. The peak is characterized by two massive couloirs on its western flank, as well as well as a few hiking trails and a heart-breaking false summit. It hosts many great snow routes (which double as fantastic ski descents) on the NW side.

Getting There Suggest change

If hiking any standard routes or doing anything on the east side, you will likely be coming off of the Mount Nebo Loop Rd. For most of anything else, there are several dirt roads taking you out of Mona to the desired couloir/chute. Check individual routes for better detail about getting where you need to go.
