Description Suggest change

Tower Area is comprised of diabase like every other area in the Governor Dick Park. This area hosts some of the best and hardest lines in the entire park. While you're here make sure to hit the 3 areas and try their own king lines: Chickenhawk (V9), Kinesthetic Awareness(V11), and DiSanto (V9). This area sits alone with a somewhat long and indirect walk to any other area in the park.

Getting There Suggest change

From the Education Center, take the trail that is at the opposite side of the parking lot in relation to the Ed Center. Once you enter the woods follow signs that direct you to the fire tower road (gravel road). When you arrive at the open area at the top of the trail, make a slight right onto trail 8 and there will be a bouldering area marker on your right side. Follow the trail back down into the woods and you will arrive at the bouldering area.

It is also possible to reach the gravel fire road from trail 4 and the 45 Area. If you are at the top of the 45 Area where Exhibit A and Destroyer are located. Walk past the 45 boulder in the direction that you would finish Destroyer in and turn right once you have the option. Follow this more intense hike until you reach the gravel road then continue up to the fire tower.
