Description Suggest change

Climbing areas at Camp Long. Please be courteous and clean up so everyone can continue to use Camp Long for climbing.

Camp Long primarily has Schurman Rock, described as "oldest purpose-built climbing structure in the country" from the 1930's. This place has a lot of history with many significant alpinists, mountaineers, and climbers passing through for some practice and fun. It's a fun place to romp around on and use as an outdoor spray wall with highball boulder problems to be had. Additionally, this may be the only climbable rock within Seattle city limits. There may be additional rocks to be found in the forests of Camp Long that are just waiting for some FAs.

Getting There Suggest change
