Description

These boulders are located in Castle Gate Subdivision, at the top of a North facing hill, about 1/2 a mile before the Black Bridge at the mouth of Spring Canyon. The rock is bomber and the problems match! Intermediate - advanced.

Getting There

Approach 1 - Google Map (698 Castle Gate Rd, Helper UT, 84526) From Highway 6 South Bound from SPANISH FORK, turn RIGHT onto N Main St., turn RIGHT onto Bryner St., turn RIGHT onto Canyon St., turn LEFT onto Helper Dr., turn LEFT onto Castle Gate Rd and park at the small park on your right. Walk down into the wash and make your way up the hill to your right. You'll first come to "Bloody Mary", then just past that is "Praise The Lord" boulder almost at the top of the hill.

Approach 2 - Google Map (Helper Gun Club Road) From Highway 6 South Bound from SPANISH FORK, turn RIGHT onto N Main St., turn LEFT to stay onto N Main St., turn RIGHT onto Roosevelt St., turn LEFT onto Hill St., turn RIGHT onto Reservoir St., turn RIGHT toward the Gun Club on a dirt road, pass two water tanks, take the second RIGHT hand turn and park on the dirt road, 20 yards, head north to the hillside and you'll see the top of "Praise The Lord" boulder.
