Permits can be acquired at the ranger station on the way to the boulders from the upper Tramway station.

Description

This boulder is visible from the main trail to Shangri La, up on the hillside going towards Kung Fu Canyon.

Getting There

To find this boulder, head as if going to Shangri La Valley from the tram. After making the right turn off the trail/before the bridge, walk for about a hundred yards and the boulder will be visible on the hillside to the left.
