Description Suggest change

A somewhat esoteric area, with a semi-long approach through unspoiled desert terrain, and a touchy weather window. After a 45 minute, trackless, uphill hike, one reaches mostly slabby climbing on solid rock, in a pristine, solitary environment.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow Chicago road, trend right 1/2 mile beyond the Thunder Wall, and park when the road becomes too rough, close to a green patch of trees... Amaral Spring. Hike up the gully behind the spring, trending right when possible. The climbs become visible after about 20 minutes, and are reached in about 45 minutes.
